The 10th Seoul Urban Agriculture Expo Held in the Anyangcheon Area of Yangcheon-gu
From 27th to 30th, Seoul City and Yangcheon-gu jointly host 'Urban Agriculture and Healing' at Anyangcheon Nature Learning Center area
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Yangcheon-gu (Mayor Kim Soo-young) will hold the "10th Seoul Urban Agriculture Expo" from the 27th to the 30th at the Anyangcheon Nature Learning Center (871-2 Sinjeong-dong) area.
This event is co-hosted by Seoul City and Yangcheon-gu. The first expo was held in 2012 at Seoul Plaza, and Yangcheon-gu is the fourth autonomous district in Seoul to host the Seoul Urban Agriculture Expo.
The district plans to focus on exhibitions with simultaneous online broadcasting to prevent and contain the spread of COVID-19.
Under the theme of "Urban Agriculture and Healing," this expo allows visitors to directly view exhibitions at the Anyangcheon Nature Learning Center area or access urban agriculture information at a glance online.
On-site, there will be a "Theme Exhibition Hall" featuring urban agriculture policies, farmer workshops, and agricultural classes; a "Farm Lounge Exhibition" composed of Zero Farm, Kids Farm, and Healing Farm; as well as exhibitions by the Agricultural Technology Center and Yangcheon-gu promotional hall. These exhibitions are implemented in VR and can be viewed online via the official website and YouTube.
Additionally, various urban agriculture experience programs and real-time streaming broadcasts will be held. Detailed schedules and programs can be found by searching "Seoul Urban Agriculture Expo" on the internet, or by contacting the district office's Parks and Greenery Division by phone.
