President Moon: "For the Global Environment, Small Actions by Individuals Matter"
2021 P4G Seoul Summit, Special Talk Video Appearance... Actress Park Jin-hee and Broadcaster Tyler in Conversation

President Moon Jae-in said this on the morning of the 27th through a special dialogue video of the '2021 P4G Seoul Summit' released via Naver, Daum, and KakaoTalk. The Blue House stated, "To raise public interest in the P4G Summit and introduce ways to protect the Earth's environment that can be practiced in daily life, two videos were produced and released under the theme 'Action for the Earth Before It's Too Late.'"
President Moon's special dialogue video can be viewed from 8 a.m. on the 27th on the main pages of Naver and Daum, and through the KakaoTalk Shop (#) tab.
President Moon walked within the Blue House grounds with actress Park Jin-hee (Eco-berity) and broadcaster Tyler Rasch (WWF Ambassador), discussing topics such as the P4G Seoul Summit, carbon neutrality, food security and climate change, and efforts to practice zero waste.
President Moon emphasized, "It is important not to think 'What use is my effort alone?'"
When asked what pledge he would make if he became the 'President of the Earth,' President Moon said, "Reducing marine litter by switching to biodegradable eco-friendly fishing gear is important."
Regarding efforts for the Earth, President Moon introduced 'Eating vegetarian on Earth Day,' Tyler introduced the 'Eco-friendly Product Certification Challenge,' and Park Jin-hee introduced 'Not using disposable products.' President Moon also introduced First Lady Kim Jung-sook's Courage Challenge, the presidential hydrogen car, and the Korean grains being cultivated within the Blue House.
Earlier, the video titled 'Action for the Earth Before It's Too Late, Practice' was released on the 26th through government online channels such as the Blue House YouTube, the P4G Seoul Summit website, and KTV. It begins with illustrations and commentary by writer Jeon I-su, who writes fairy tales with messages to protect the environment.
Actor Kim Seon-ho introduced a Korean venture company's solar panel support project in Africa as an excellent renewable energy case. Model Han Hye-jin's experience with eco-friendly clothing and comedian couple Kang Jae-jun and Lee Eun-hyung's introduction of environmentally friendly eating habits were also revealed.

The P4G Seoul Summit, an international public-private partnership forum for green economy to respond to climate change and sustainable development, is Korea's first multilateral summit in the environmental sector and will be held from the 30th to the 31st. The summit sessions will begin with the opening ceremony on the 30th.
