Gwangju City to Recruit Building Management Inspection Agencies Starting from the 31st
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 26th that it will recruit "Building Management Inspection Agencies" from the 31st of this month to the 11th of next month in accordance with the "Building Management Act" enacted in 2020 to improve the usability and ensure the safety of buildings.
The recruitment fields are ▲Regular Inspection Agencies ▲Emergency Inspection Agencies ▲Inspection Agencies for Small-scale Aged Buildings ▲Safety Diagnosis Agencies, totaling four categories.
Gwangju City plans to review technical personnel, equipment possession status, and completion of related training, then compile a list of "Building Management Inspection Agencies" and notify the autonomous districts.
This is to ensure that verified agencies inspect buildings to maintain functionality and secure safety.
The autonomous districts will designate inspection agencies from the list to the managers of buildings subject to inspection and notify them of the inspection implementation and procedures at least three months in advance.
The list of Building Management Inspection Agencies is created and operated annually through public announcements. Even companies that have previously applied and conducted inspections must reapply and register on the list to perform inspections under the "Building Management Act."
Agencies (companies) wishing to register can apply through the Building Life Cycle Management System website.
