Izmedia Signs MOU with Nasdaq-Listed Greenbox POS for NFT Platform
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] Izmedia, which is pursuing new business ventures, is entering the NFT (Non-Fungible Token) business in partnership with Nasdaq-listed company Greenbox POS (hereinafter Greenbox).
On the 25th, Izmedia announced that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Greenbox (Ticker: GBOX) to develop a blockchain-based NFT platform. Through this agreement, both companies plan to collaborate on sharing know-how for building NFT platforms, providing blockchain-based cryptocurrency technology, and establishing virtual asset trading platforms.
In particular, Greenbox will provide Izmedia with payment gateway and payment solutions for establishing the NFT platform, and Izmedia will build the NFT payment platform based on this, including UI/UX (user interface and experience).
Greenbox is a software and IT services company listed on the Nasdaq in the United States. It possesses payment solution technology utilizing blockchain and provides blockchain solutions to global companies. In February, it was registered in the fast-track program of global payment service company Visa, enabling the use of payment-related technologies and cooperation with partners within the fast-track program.
Kim Gitae, CEO of Izmedia, said, “To successfully start the highly promising NFT business, we have established a cooperative relationship with Greenbox, which has technological competitiveness in the blockchain field,” adding, “Starting with this MOU, we plan to actively cooperate in virtual asset businesses such as cryptocurrency and NFT in the future.”
