The Urban Regeneration University Student Supporters, operating since 2019, promote the urban regeneration projects pursued by Jinju City from the perspective of university students and propose creative urban regeneration ideas.
The 3rd supporters were publicly recruited from university (graduate) students in the Jinju area last February, with 20 selected, and they are scheduled to be active for nine months until December this year.
The university students attending the date expressed active interest in projects planned by Jinju City, such as the construction of a multipurpose cultural center along the Namgang River, the Gangnam District urban regeneration project, and the Sangpyeong Industrial Complex regeneration project, along with their aspirations for future activities to invigorate urban regeneration projects.
In addition to these topics, the date proceeded in a relaxed atmosphere with discussions about university life and questions the students had for the mayor.
