At this event, where family visits were restricted due to social distancing, Jangheung-gun presented roses to the new firefighters to congratulate their graduation on behalf of their families, and the graduates promised to remember Jangheung and visit again.
In addition, they promoted the seriousness of the low birthrate and declining marriage population issues, as well as benefits for relocation, to the new firefighters and staff at the Jeonnam Fire Academy, urging active participation in increasing the population.
The rookie firefighters who completed the 16-week theoretical and field training course at the Jeonnam Fire Academy located in Usan-ri, Jangheung-eup, will be assigned to fire stations and protect safety in the province.
