View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] Shinhan Life Insurance announced on the 20th that it donated 210 blood donation certificates and over 6 million won to the Korea Leukemia Pediatric Cancer Association.
On the 17th, Shinhan Life held a handover ceremony at the auditorium on the 22nd floor of its headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul, attended by Cho Hyung-yeop, Head of Shinhan Life's Strategic Planning Group, and Heo In-young, Secretary General of the Korea Leukemia Pediatric Cancer Association.
The blood donation certificates and donations were raised through voluntary blood donations by Shinhan Life employees and collecting spare change from salaries, and will be delivered to children who require transfusions during leukemia and pediatric cancer treatment.
Since 2006, Shinhan Life has been running the "Employee Salary Spare Change Collection" campaign to support children with leukemia and pediatric cancer, and since 2011, it has been allocating a portion of the annual children's insurance sales revenue to a treatment fund to support ▲living expenses for patients' families ▲social adaptation programs ▲direct medical expenses.
