Shilla University (President Kim Chung-seok) Department of Aviation Service held a Wing Badge Award Ceremony on the 17th at the 4th-floor auditorium of the Future Aviation Convergence Hall.
The Wing Badge Award Ceremony is an event where wing badges symbolizing aircraft wings are given to inspire dreams, discipline, and learning motivation related to becoming a flight attendant.
Held in celebration of Coming-of-Age Day, the event was attended by Dean Jo Yoon-sik of the Aviation College, department professors, and students, who presented wing badges and roses to freshmen and encouraged them.
Professor Jeong Hee-kyung, head of the Department of Aviation Service, expressed the ambition, saying, “Our department aims to be a mecca for training cabin crew through field-centered practical education, where admission means immediate employment.”
Kang Woo-ri, a first-year student in the Department of Aviation Service at Shilla University, said, “The event made me feel even more proud of my department,” and added, “I will strive to become an aviation flight attendant equipped with intelligence and a service mindset.”
