[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Sancheong-gun, Gyeongnam announced on the 13th that it will provide hygiene management supplies to low-income medical aid case management households, which are relatively vulnerable to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
The county will use medical aid project funds to distribute hygiene management supplies consisting of KF94 masks and hand sanitizers to 300 low-income medical aid Daeseung households.
Last year, the county also received great responses by supporting automatic electronic blood pressure monitors for chronic patients vulnerable to infectious diseases such as COVID-19 among low-income medical aid recipients, and by promoting a project to provide non-contact thermometers to households with elementary, middle, and high school children.
A county official said, “Although vaccination for the elderly is underway, it is not yet a stage to be relieved,” and added, “We plan to continue providing various medical supports suitable for the situation to prevent the spread of infectious diseases among vulnerable groups.”
