Hamyang-gun COVID-19 Rent Reduction Building Owners Apply for Property Tax Relief
Property Tax Reduced Up to 75% Corresponding to Rent Reduction Rate
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Hamyang-gun, Gyeongnam Province, is accepting applications for property tax reductions from building owners who have reduced rent by more than three months for small business owners (tenants) struggling due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) until June 19.
The reduction for ‘Sangsaeng landlords’ involves a discount on the building property tax imposed in July this year, up to 75% (previously 50%) according to the rent reduction rate.
Landlords participating in the Sangsaeng rent movement can apply in person at the county office’s finance department or the town/myeon office with a local tax reduction application form, a copy of the lease contract, and bank transaction statements proving the rent reduction.
