KODEX, First Ever Net Asset Value Surpasses 30 Trillion Won
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Junho] Samsung Asset Management announced on the 11th that the net assets of its exchange-traded fund (ETF) brand KODEX surpassed 30 trillion won for the first time ever. It took 3 years and 4 months to exceed 30 trillion won after surpassing 20 trillion won in January 2018. It maintained the top position with a 50.6% share of the entire market.
Samsung KODEX ETF was the first ETF in Korea, traded since October 2002. The first listed ETF, KODEX 200 ETF, grew to become the largest single fund with net assets of 4.5 trillion won.
