Angel Store was planned with the purpose of providing continuous job creation and employment stability through stable convenience store jobs for single-parent families, beyond simple product or monetary donations. To this end, Seven Eleven and Hangaji signed a business agreement in March to create jobs and establish a foundation for independence for single-parent families.
Angel Store No. 1 was established as part of Seven Eleven’s social value management activities to strengthen public interest activities for the local community. Angel7 is a slogan symbolizing social value creation activities within Seven Eleven’s ESG management. Seven Eleven supported the initial investment costs necessary for store operation, such as franchise joining fees and training expenses, and built a cooperative system with Hangaji to jointly seek practical support measures for single-parent families.
Additionally, through cooperation with Lotte Holdings, as part of the ‘Mom Pyeonhan’ project, various support programs were provided to help the early settlement and stable operation of Angel Store, including support for education expenses and child care. Mom Pyeonhan is a social contribution brand launched by Lotte Holdings in 2013 with the commitment to create a world where mothers’ hearts are at ease.
