Gyeongsan-si Launches Temporary Livelihood Support TF Team... 2.25 Billion KRW Invested for 4,500 Households
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Jae-ho] Gyeongsan City, Gyeongbuk Province (Mayor Choi Young-jo) announced on the 11th that it will officially launch the 'Temporary Livelihood Support for Crisis Households' TF team to support low-income households that have not received COVID-19 damage assistance.
The support target is low-income crisis households not receiving COVID-19 damage assistance, who are struggling to make a living due to COVID-19 but have not received support from other welfare programs or COVID-19 damage assistance.
The TF team, led by Director of Welfare and Culture Bureau Lee Dong-yeol, consists of 14 members divided into three teams: ▲ Operations and Public Relations Team ▲ Emergency Livelihood Support Team ▲ Emergency Welfare Team. Eup, myeon, and dong offices will set up and operate on-site reception desks.
Gyeongsan City will accept applications for about four weeks from May 10 to June 4, simultaneously with the TF team launch. Online applications can be made through the Bokjiro website system. To facilitate smooth application processing, a system based on the last digit of the head of household's birth year will be applied, alternating between odd and even numbers.

On-site applications will be accepted from May 17 at the administrative welfare centers of the applicant's eup, myeon, or dong. Excluded from the temporary livelihood support project are households receiving basic livelihood security living allowances (May), emergency welfare living support (May), Ministry of Employment and Labor emergency employment stabilization subsidies, Ministry of SMEs and Startups Buttress Plus funds, and other households that received COVID-19 related disaster relief funds in 2021.
