H2KOREA is an organization that supports hydrogen production and supply in Korea through regulatory and institutional improvements across the entire hydrogen industry, discovering hydrogen-specialized companies, and establishing hydrogen production bases. It was selected as the dedicated agency for hydrogen industry promotion following the enforcement of the Hydrogen Act in February.
Through this agreement, Shinhan Bank will actively cooperate to discover sustainable business models to revitalize the supply of hydrogen energy, including fostering hydrogen-specialized companies and infrastructure construction promoted by H2KOREA, and to successfully carry out the Green New Deal.
Additionally, Shinhan Bank plans to actively support the stable growth of hydrogen-specialized companies discovered and certified by H2KOREA by providing not only financial support according to growth stages but also non-financial services such as tax, accounting, human resources, and legal consulting.
A Shinhan Bank official stated, "Through this agreement, we will build a strategic partnership with H2KOREA for the K-Green New Deal," adding, "We will actively participate in building Green New Deal infrastructure, including investment and financial support for eco-friendly industries, and take the lead in the successful implementation of the government's Green New Deal policy."
