This training involves all members of the rescue team and is conducted at the Wando Maritime Police exclusive pier and accident-prone areas within the jurisdiction. The purpose is to improve individual rescue skills, establish optimal teamwork during incidents, cultivate response capabilities for various marine accidents, and strengthen emergency dispatch readiness.
Additionally, in celebration of the upcoming 'Sea Day' during the training, marine cleanup activities will be carried out mainly around the Wando Maritime Police exclusive pier and harbor area. They plan to collect floating debris such as reeds to preserve the marine environment and prevent safety accidents such as ship propeller entanglement with floating objects in advance.
The main training on the 12th will be a regular session including intensive exercises such as trauma patient treatment, triage of mass casualties, rescue techniques, rescue transport methods, ship hull breach sealing training using emergency sealing tools, and familiarization with local terrain and vessels.
