Hunet Selected as '2021 Asia-Pacific High-Growth Company' for 2 Consecutive Years

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] Hunet, a lifelong education specialist company, announced on the 6th that it was selected as one of the ‘2021 Asia-Pacific High-Growth Companies’ by the UK Financial Times (FT) and Japan's Nikkei Asia.
Hunet was the only domestic education company to be listed for two consecutive years following last year. It added that this announcement was conducted in collaboration with the global research specialist Statista.
First, the list selecting 500 companies with high growth rates across 13 Asia-Pacific countries targeted companies with sales of over $100,000 in 2016 and over $1 million in 2019. The ranking was based on the calculation of the average annual growth rate during this period. A total of 22 Korean companies, including Hunet, Wadiz, and Market Kurly, were selected.
Cho Youngtak, CEO of Hunet, said, "We are pleased to support customer growth through education and for Hunet to grow as well," adding, "We take pride and responsibility in being the only education company to be listed and will strive for the development of the education industry."

Meanwhile, Hunet achieved record-breaking annual sales, number of learners, and corporate clients last year amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Recently, it established Hunet USA and the Artificial Intelligence Education Research Institute.
