LG HelloVision Delivers 'Mind Sharing Package' for Family Month
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] LG HelloVision announced on the 6th that it will deliver ‘Maeumnanum Packages’ composed of local agricultural products and small business items to the homes of elderly people living alone within the cable TV broadcast area in celebration of Family Month.
LG HelloVision will gift Maeumnanum Packages to 450 elderly households living alone through four regional broadcasters (SOs) as bases. The Maeumnanum Packages consist of seasonal agricultural products, food items, and quarantine supplies. They will be delivered in cooperation with welfare centers located in Yangcheon-gu, Seoul; Yeongju-si, Gyeongbuk; Miryang-si, Gyeongnam; and Seosan-si, Chungnam.
It is also noteworthy that this initiative is linked with the local economy revitalization campaign ‘Neighborhood Stores, Together Stores.’ Through cable TV regional channels, markets such as Moksarang Market in Yangcheon-gu, Seosan Dongbu Market, and Yeongju 365 Market will be highlighted. The plan is to encourage viewers to visit traditional markets, thereby contributing to the revitalization of the local economy, which has been struggling due to COVID-19. A farm support campaign involving employees has also been prepared. Fresh local agricultural and specialty product packages, jointly prepared by LG HelloVision and Miryang-si, will be sold to employees.
