Woori Card Prepares Integrated Payment Platform with Woori Financial Group
'WooriPay Account Payment Service' Expands Linked Accounts to 11 Banks
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] Woori Card announced on the 3rd that it has strengthened its digital payment services to enhance customer convenience, including expanding account payment services and launching a small credit limit service.
The 'Woori Pay Account Payment Service,' launched in January, has added 10 more banks, allowing users to connect accounts from a total of 11 banks, including the existing Woori Bank. Users can easily register their bank accounts 24/7 through Woori Pay integrated into the Woori One Card application (app), and use it for immediate withdrawal at Woori Pay online and offline merchants just like a debit card.
In response to small postpaid payment services from big tech companies like Naver Pay, the 'Small Credit Limit Service' offering a credit limit of up to 300,000 KRW has also been added to the Woori One Card app. Customers using debit cards and account payments can apply for this service through the app and receive an instant review to get a credit limit of up to 300,000 KRW.
Samsung Pay users can also link their accounts with the Woori One Card app to use easy payments. By launching Samsung Pay through the Woori One Card app, users can register their cards with one click without entering card information separately, allowing convenient offline use without a physical card.
Additionally, Woori One Banking app is preparing to apply Woori Pay, becoming the first banking app to do so. Through this, Woori plans to build a group integrated payment platform based on Woori Pay.
