Noh Hyung-wook Explains Wife's 'Theft' Record as Due to "Menopausal Depression"

According to the confirmation hearing materials for nominee Noh submitted to the National Assembly on the 2nd, Noh's wife, Ms. Kim, was prosecuted for violating the Minor Offenses Act and was sentenced to a fine of 200,000 won by the court on May 1st of last year.
Regarding this, nominee Noh issued an explanatory statement through the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, saying, "My wife was fined 200,000 won in a summary trial," and added, "At the time, my wife was suffering from menopausal depression symptoms, and the incident occurred impulsively and spontaneously."
