[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Yuri] Shinsegae Department Store announced on the 2nd that it has prepared a variety of products that allow customers to enjoy a camping atmosphere without traveling far, in line with the 'stay-at-home' trend.
On the 6th floor of the main store's men's specialty hall, a home camping-themed experience space will be set up for three weeks starting from the 13th to welcome customers. Popular items have been gathered in one place so that customers can enjoy the fun of camping even indoors.
The Australian lifestyle and outdoor brand 'Basil Bangs' has prepared parasols, outdoor chairs, rugs, cushions, and more for this event. These items are seasonally limited editions and are popular every season. The products are characterized by their collaboration with famous artists, combining both stylish and practical features. Prices range from 730,000 to 840,000 KRW for parasol sets and 540,000 KRW for chairs.
Emotional camping goods brands are also participating. The famous camping chair brand 'Zipde Chair', the 4-person roll table set from 'Outdoor Box' which is easy to store, and hammocks from 'Picnic Partners' are available. Prices are 290,000 KRW, 2,170,000 KRW, and 710,000 KRW respectively. The lantern from 'Lumiere Nine', which creates a romantic atmosphere, is priced at 135,000 KRW. The outdoor cup set made of copper material with high thermal conductivity is a product from 'Hatton Heritage' and is sold for 128,000 KRW.
A pop-up for enjoying your own terrace camping will also be held. At the main store, from now until the 6th, a handmade accessory brand 'Like Mono' and interior brand 'Umbra' will hold events on the 2nd floor of the new building. They have prepared charming products and various small furniture items, and customers who purchase over 200,000 KRW will receive a fabric planter as a gift, limited to the first 30 customers. Representative products include wall-mounted plants priced at 59,000 KRW and Sansevieria planters at 65,000 KRW.
From the 7th to the 13th, various home party foods will be showcased in the basement event hall of the main store. Popular wines will be offered at exclusive special prices. 'The Dutch Cheese & More' cheeses will also be sold at discounted prices.
The Uijeongbu branch and Times Square branch will continue the relay pop-ups. The Uijeongbu branch will introduce accessory pop-ups as well as popular home party products from the 7th to the 13th on the 3rd floor event hall. Customers can find Like Mono and Umbra products along with wine, cheese, and plating boards. The Times Square branch will showcase artistic tableware products from 'Imagery Code', sparkling wine package products, and 'Nespresso' coffee machines for ten days from the 14th to the 23rd. The Prada outdoor pop-up will also be available at the Times Square branch until the 19th. To welcome spring, the pop-up store is designed with gardening and camping concepts to offer various outdoor products for customers looking to purchase them.
