Tmon Joins Plastic-Free Campaign 'GoGo Challenge'... "Diversifying Eco-Friendly Products"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] Online shopping mall TMON announced on the 30th that it will participate in the 'GoGo Challenge' campaign to practice reducing plastic in daily life.
The GoGo Challenge is a plastic-free practice campaign started by the Ministry of Environment in January. It is conducted in a relay format where participants post their promises to reduce plastic use on social networking services (SNS) and nominate the next participant.
Recommended by Coffee Bean, TMON joined this campaign and promised through its official Instagram account to reduce the use of disposable items such as plastic cups and straws and to practice proper recycling.
To encourage active participation from employees, an event is held where using a personal tumbler or mug cup at the in-house cafe gives a 100 won discount, and leaving a certification photo will earn a Coffee Bean mug as a gift.
There is also a point accumulation event to lead customers to eco-friendly consumption. By leaving a comment on TMON's official Instagram and Facebook posts with "eco-friendly products you want to buy at TMON," participants will be entered into a draw to receive 3,000 won in TMON points.
TMON nominated St. Augustine and CJ ONE as the next participants to continue the GoGo Challenge campaign.
