CJ CheilJedang Launches New 'Cookit' Meal Kit Menu for Children's Day
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-sun] CJ CheilJedang announced on the 30th that it has launched new meal kit "Cookit" menu items themed "Family Restaurant Enjoyed at Home" in celebration of Children's Day.
The new menu includes four items: "Toowoomba Steak Pasta," "Shrimp Pane Pizza," "Sous Vide Chicken Fajita," and "Chicken·Shrimp Chili Sweet and Sour." The "Toowoomba Steak Pasta" features thick fettuccine noodles combined with a savory and spicy sauce. It is enhanced with beef flank steak for added flavor. The sauce was created by CJ CheilJedang's professional chefs by optimally blending cream, cheese, and spicy Western chili powder (cayenne pepper).
The "Shrimp Pane Pizza" is made by putting shrimp, various vegetables, tomato sauce, and pizza cheese into "Pane," an Italian bread. The "Sous Vide Chicken Fajita" is a representative Mexican dish where chicken breast and various vegetables are stir-fried in spicy Cajun seasoning and wrapped in a tortilla. The "Chicken·Shrimp Chili Sweet and Sour" mixes chicken, shrimp, mushrooms, and various vegetables in a sweet and spicy chili sweet and sour sauce.
