Imsil-gun Supports Facility Renovation Projects for Small Beauty and Barber Businesses
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Nosik] Imsil-gun, Jeonbuk announced on the 28th that it will support facility renovation projects for small beauty and barber businesses in the area.
The project includes support for indoor and outdoor interior work and repairs, as well as replacement of entrance doors, aiming to create a clean and hygienic environment to enhance customer convenience and revitalize beauty and barber shops.
Last year, 13 locations were selected and supported, and this year, about 10 locations will be selected for support.
During this month, businesses that apply for the facility improvement project through the town and township offices will undergo document and on-site evaluations to select the final project recipients. Selected businesses will receive project funds up to a maximum of 10 million KRW, including self-payment.
In particular, due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic and intensifying aging population, the subsidy rate has been increased from 50% last year to 70% starting this year, which is expected to reduce the burden on small business owners and expand practical benefits.
However, businesses restricted by the Credit Guarantee Foundation, those with overdue national or local taxes, and tenant businesses without the consent of the building owner will be excluded from support.
