Daejeon City Provides Full Support for Installing Emission Reduction Devices on Old Construction Machinery
[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Daejeon City announced that starting from the 28th, it will fully cover the cost of installing emission reduction devices on aging construction machinery within the city.
The support will be provided for around 30 units, targeting old dump trucks manufactured before 2005 that are based in Daejeon and subject to emission standards.
Applications must be submitted by mail using the support application form. After receiving the applications, the city will select eligible recipients. Owners of the selected aging construction machinery will be assigned a device manufacturer to proceed with the installation of the emission reduction device.

Lee Won-cheon, head of the Fine Dust Response Division of the city, stated, “The support program is implemented to reduce emissions from aging construction machinery,” and added, “We ask for the active interest and participation of owners of aging construction machinery.”
