Last year, 1.2 billion KRW was invested in the construction, creating a public parking lot (1,300㎡) next to Baeksu Post Office, and to maintain the 15 km hiking trail, clearing 121,900㎡ of underbrush, installing 734 spans of safety rope fences, 1,355 wooden stairs, and 3 observation decks.
Among them, two observation decks were equipped with telescopes, providing resting spots during hikes and adding enjoyment by allowing visitors to view the coastal scenery, creating a more pleasant and safer hiking trail.
The ‘Yeonggwang Baeksu Coastal Road Sunset Festival’ is a festival featuring various programs such as sunset trail walks and Gususang climbing competitions, loved by many tourists and residents.
