Komipharm to Suspend Animal Drug Production for 10 Days
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-joo] Komipharm announced on the 26th that production of veterinary pharmaceuticals will be suspended for 10 days due to administrative sanctions for violating the Water Environment Conservation Act.
The company stated, "The factory was completed in 1972, and the temporary leakage caused by the aging underground discharge pipe was unforeseen," adding, "To prevent recurrence, we are resetting the periodic inspection cycle for factory facilities and equipment and establishing internal policies to conduct regular preventive measures."
