View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Jung-gu, Seoul (Mayor Seoyangho) started a 'visiting free bicycle repair service' beginning on the 13th at the park in front of Gwanghui-dong Community Center.
This service will be provided a total of 78 times, visiting the area every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday until November.
The locations include subway station exits, community centers, and parks in the 15 neighborhoods of Jung-gu. Residents who want repairs can bring their bicycles to the designated locations between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Simple repairs such as tire puncture fixes, oil refills, brakes, gears, and chains are done free of charge. If parts need to be replaced, only the cost of the parts must be paid. In addition to repairs, overall inspection services such as bicycle washing and paint coating are also provided.
Residents who visit the visiting bicycle mobile repair center will receive a guidebook titled 'Safe and Proper Bicycle Riding.' The guidebook clearly explains ▲ essential inspection items before riding a bicycle ▲ how to read bicycle signs ▲ safety rules and other information to use bicycles without accidents.
There will be no service during the summer vacation period from the last week of July to the third week of August. Operating hours and locations may change depending on weather and other circumstances.
