Cases 2380 and 2381 are family members, and case 2382 is a self-employed individual; all showed similar symptoms and were tested at the Gwangju City Hall screening clinic.

Meanwhile, at around 6 PM the previous day, the 22nd COVID-19 death in Gwangju occurred.
The deceased was in their 80s, confirmed positive on the 8th, with an unknown infection route.
