Hyundai Home Shopping is launching 'Eco Shop,' the first specialized program in the TV home shopping industry that sells only eco-friendly products.

Eco Shop is a program that features products certified as eco-friendly by the Ministry of Environment, agricultural products, and items verified through overseas eco-friendly and vegan certification organizations.
The first product aired on this day is a set of Correct Shampoo Bars (solid shampoo) from Donggubat, a social enterprise producing eco-friendly solid soap. Donggubat received vegan certification for its cosmetic production facilities from the French vegan certification organization EVE and USDA organic cosmetic manufacturing certification from the United States Department of Agriculture. Each shampoo bar can be used about 40 times by an adult male, and it is characterized by using biodegradable packaging cushioning made from cornstarch without using separate plastic containers.

A Hyundai Home Shopping official said, "We launched this specialized program to support the market channels of companies contributing to resource saving and environmental protection through eco-friendly product production," adding, "We will expand the Eco Shop operation channels to include TV home shopping, Hyundai Home Shopping Plus Shop (T-commerce), and Shopping Live (live commerce)."
