Yangcheon Cultural Foundation Hosts Nationwide Touring Photo Exhibition by Artist Park Ilseon April 26-29 Featuring Myanmar's Beauty in People and Nature 'Myanmar-ui Saek (R?pa of Myanmar)'
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Yangcheon-gu (Mayor Kim Soo-young) will hold a nationwide touring photo exhibition by photographer Park Il-seon titled "색(R?pa of Myanmar)" showcasing the beauty and peace of Myanmar from the 26th to the 29th at the Yangcheon Cultural Center Exhibition Hall (367 Mokdongseo-ro).
This photo exhibition is hosted by the Yangcheon Cultural Foundation and the Blue Asia Center, and supported by Yangcheon-gu and the Myanmar Democracy Network.
It was planned to support the people of Myanmar who are suffering from the military's oppressive crackdown on protests, and after stops in Icheon, Suwon, Daejeon, and Gongju in Gyeonggi Province, it will be held for the first time in Seoul at Yangcheon-gu.
Admission is free, and the exhibition is divided into three parts: ▲Part 1 Peaceful Myanmar ▲Part 2 Myanmar of Oppression and Resistance ▲Part 3 Myanmar Regaining Happiness.
In addition to the photo exhibition, the Yangcheon Cultural Foundation will organize a letter-writing campaign to support the people of Myanmar and raise funds, with all proceeds planned to be donated to credible organizations aligned with the purpose of the exhibition.
Park Il-seon, who has been engaged in environmental and peace activism for 35 years and exchanges with Nepal, Cheil Joseon School, and others besides Myanmar, stated, "Through this nationwide touring photo exhibition, I want to share the beautiful and peaceful image of Myanmar and offer a small help to the people of Myanmar."
