'Boong' Lifted and Thrown Away... 'SNS Star' Cat Dies Instantly After Assault by 12-Year-Old Boy
The owner of the cat 'Ponju,' Cha Nan Aksornan, is being assaulted by three women.

[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Sumi] It has been revealed belatedly that Ponzu, a star cat who was very popular on social networking services (SNS) with over 30,000 followers, tragically died after being beaten by a 12-year-old boy.
According to the New York Post on the 22nd (local time), Ponzu was taking a walk with its owner, Chanann Aksornan, near McCarren Park in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, New York, on the 4th.
During the walk, a 12-year-old boy tripped over Ponzu's leash, and in anger, the boy pulled the leash, lifted Ponzu into the air, and then threw him onto the ground.
Ponzu was covered in blood and suffered severe injuries, including lost claws. Ponzu, who had a pre-existing heart condition, ultimately died on the spot from cardiac arrest. Aksornan was unable to do anything as the incident happened in an instant.
On the 4th (local time), an incident occurred where Ponzu, a star cat with over 30,000 followers, was beaten to death by a 12-year-old boy, sparking a wave of mourning for Ponzu.

When the enraged Aksornan confronted the boy and his family, asking, "What did you do to my cat?" they instead claimed, "The child fell because of the cat," and hurled insults and assaulted Aksornan. Soon, three women surrounded Aksornan, throwing punches and kicking him.
