[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi) will provide disaster relief funds of 500,000 KRW to small business owners who have closed their businesses and were excluded from support despite suffering significant damage from COVID-19, until August 13.
The support targets small business owners in Jungnang-gu who closed their businesses after operating in establishments subject to gathering bans or business restrictions. They must have closed between March 22 and April 14 of this year, during the period when social distancing was strengthened by the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters, and must have operated for more than 90 days before closing.
In particular, even if they closed their business after receiving the Buttimgok Fund Plus and Seoul Vitality Fund, they can apply again if they meet the eligibility criteria.
The application period is until August 13. Applicants must prepare documents such as a certificate of business closure, sales proof documents, and small business certification documents, and apply by visiting the department in charge of gathering ban/business restriction industries or by registered mail.
For detailed information regarding the application, please refer to the announcements and notices section on the Jungnang-gu Office website or contact the department in charge of the industry or the Jungnang-gu Office Enterprise Support Division.
