Bodyfriend, Patent for Thigh-Length Customized Massage Chair Technology
Medical R&D Center Accelerates Advancement of Customized Massage Technology Through Research and Development
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Bodyfriend (CEO Park Sang-hyun) announced on the 21st that it has registered a patent for massage device technology that allows adjustment of leg length and thigh length.
The core of this patent is that the 'leg massage module' itself can move forward and backward. By newly developing a thigh length adjustment part, the leg massage module can be moved in the front-back direction to stretch or shorten according to the thigh length. In existing massage chairs, only the calf area of the leg massage module could be adjusted, and it could not move forward or backward, making it difficult to provide customized massage according to the user's thigh length.
Bodyfriend, which has already been researching technology for personalized massage for various body parts, has opened the possibility of launching products that provide massage tailored to users' thigh lengths with different body types through this patented technology.
