Jeju Fire Department Thoroughly Inspects Safety Management in Island Areas
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters (Jeju) Reporter Hwang Jeongpil] The Jeju Fire Safety Headquarters announced on the 21st that it has started on-site visits since the 20th to inspect the fire safety management status and provide safety guidance in island areas.
This visit is scheduled to be conducted sequentially at five major island locations within the province, starting with Chuja-do, followed by Gapa and Marado, among others. It aims to encourage employees and volunteer firefighters working in remote areas and to listen to their difficulties through communication administration to hear the voices from the field.
In addition, the safety management status was confirmed by conducting on-site inspections of vulnerable targets and major facilities. Visits to helicopter landing pads in island areas were also carried out to thoroughly check fire response readiness and emergency patient transport systems.
