[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 19th that due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, this year's civil defense training will be converted to smart training (non-face-to-face online) and conducted.
Until now, civil defense members in their 1st to 4th year have received 4 hours of group training, while members with 5 or more years have received 1 hour of online training or emergency assembly.
The civil defense smart training to be conducted this time targets all civil defense members affiliated with Gwangsan-gu.
The training will be held three times in the first and second half of the year: from April 15 to June 30, from July 15 to August 31, and from September 15 to November 15.
The training method involves accessing the smart civil defense training website via the Gwangsan-gu homepage banner or internet portals on a PC or smartphone, completing identity verification, and then receiving the training.
The training content consists of the duties and roles of civil defense members, lifesaving, first aid, etc. After watching a one-hour video in full and scoring 70 points or more on a multiple-choice evaluation, the training is considered complete.
