KOTRA and Germany's P3 Group Hold 'Korea-Europe Battery Day'... Until Next Month 7th
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Hyunjin] KOTRA announced on the 19th that it will hold the 'Korea-Europe Battery Day' from the 20th of this month to the 7th of next month to support the entry of Korean companies into the European electric vehicle battery market. The event will feature webinars on the current status and future technologies of the electric vehicle battery market, as well as one-on-one (1:1) video consultations.
The webinar, attended by about 450 domestic and international company officials including automobile manufacturers BMW and Audi, will be held over two days starting on the 20th, focusing on material and equipment development trends and localization considerations by Germany's P3 Group. P3 Group is a German engineering company that develops product technologies for German automakers and parts suppliers, providing demonstration tests and customized strategic consulting.
Additionally, speakers from German battery manufacturers such as Customcells, Italian company Italvolt, and the Fraunhofer Institute in Germany, which participate in the IPCEI (Important Projects of Common European Interest) industrial development project aimed at reducing dependence on non-EU countries and securing supply chain autonomy, will introduce battery procurement and development strategies.
The one-on-one video consultation, held for two weeks starting on the 26th, will include 40 small and medium-sized Korean companies in the battery materials and parts sector and 40 major European companies such as Croatian electric vehicle manufacturer Rimac and German electrical and electronics company Siemens. Korean companies are expected to conduct export consultations with local global companies in the fields of battery production manufacturing equipment and future new materials.
