Hwasun-gun Implements 'Vaccine Leave' for Elderly Job Participants
[Hwasun=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Kim Ji-woon] Jeonnam Hwasun-gun (Governor Gu Chung-gon) announced on the 14th that it will implement vaccine leave for elderly job participants.
The county will begin COVID-19 vaccinations for seniors aged 75 and older starting on the 15th and has decided to implement vaccine leave to ensure health management after vaccination and safe job activities for elderly job participants.
Elderly job participants can take up to 3 days of leave, and if any adverse reactions occur after receiving the COVID-19 vaccine, one day of leave the day after vaccination is guaranteed upon application without a doctor's note.
If adverse reactions persist, an additional day of leave can be taken, and leave will also be granted for the time required for vaccination.
The county plans to monitor the COVID-19 vaccination status and health conditions of elderly job participants.

Additionally, if symptoms do not improve after vaccination or if unusual physical symptoms occur, participants are instructed to immediately contact 119 and seek medical treatment at a healthcare facility. Education on vaccine leave and how to respond to adverse reactions was also provided to job participants.
