On the 13th, the Korea Meteorological Administration forecasted that cold air will move southward from the northwest starting midday, causing morning temperatures on the 14th to drop by more than 10 degrees compared to today, ranging from -1 to 7 degrees Celsius. Most regions nationwide will experience chilly mornings with temperatures below 5 degrees Celsius.
The Meteorological Administration advised, "Tomorrow morning, strong winds will make the perceived temperature even lower, resulting in cold conditions. The temperature difference between day and night will exceed 15 degrees Celsius, so please take care of your health to prevent weakened immunity due to temperature changes."
At 10 a.m. on the same day, the Meteorological Administration issued cold wave advisories for northern Gyeonggi Province, inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon Province, parts of Chungbuk, inland Gyeongbuk, and eastern Jeonbuk regions.
On the early mornings of the 14th and 15th, temperatures near the ground will fall below freezing in inland areas, causing frost and ice formation. Precautions such as operating fine sprinkling facilities or wind fans should be taken in advance to prevent cold damage.
Strong winds of 6 to 12 meters per second will blow in the Gangwon mountainous areas, the west coast, and Jeju Island until the 14th, with slightly strong winds expected in other regions as well, so facility management should be carefully observed.
