US State Department: Japan's Fukushima Contaminated Water Discharge Meets International Safety Standards

According to Kyodo News on the 13th, the U.S. State Department stated, "We are well aware that the Japanese government has thoroughly reviewed various options regarding the treatment of contaminated water," and added, "The Japanese government's decision is a transparent one that complies with international safety standards."
