[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jun-hyung] The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced that from midnight to 9 p.m. on the 10th, the number of new confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in Seoul was tentatively counted at 207 over a 21-hour period.
Compared to the same time frame, this is 9 more cases than the previous day (the 9th), which had 198 cases, and 68 more than last Saturday (the 3rd), which had 139 cases.
The daily number of confirmed cases in Seoul was in the 200s for three consecutive days from the 7th to the 9th, with 244 → 215 → 201 cases respectively. The tentative figure for the 10th recorded 207 cases by 9 p.m., continuing the 200s range for the fourth consecutive day. This indicates that the resurgence momentum within Seoul is not subsiding.
