View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-seop] The Shinhan Credit Union Social Contribution Foundation announced on the 7th that it donated a multi-passenger vehicle to the Jeongseon Senior Club to revitalize senior employment projects.
The donation ceremony held at Jeongseon District Office the day before was attended by Kim Yoon-sik, Chairman of the Shinhan Credit Union Social Contribution Foundation, and Choi Seung-jun, Mayor of Jeongseon County, among others.
The donated vehicle will be used as a means of transportation for the elderly population in Jeongseon who have difficulty moving. It supports economic self-sufficiency by improving job accessibility and mobility convenience for seniors affiliated with the Senior Club.
Since starting with the donation of a low-floor bus to the Daejeon Municipal Sports Rehabilitation Center in 2018, Shinhan Credit Union has donated a total of eight vehicles worth 813 million KRW.
