Gwangju Hold'em Pub Faces Review for 'Quarantine Rule Violations' Amid Surge in COVID-19 Cases

According to health authorities on the 6th, four employees of a holdem pub in Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, tested positive for COVID-19 the previous day.
They were tested after being classified as close contacts when a coworker was confirmed positive on the 4th in Ansan, Gyeonggi Province.
The health authorities conducted an epidemiological investigation focusing on the holdem pub staff and visitors, testing 25 people, of whom four tested positive.
The investigation revealed that the pub did not properly operate the visitor QR code system. Additionally, the internal CCTV was not functioning, causing confusion in the epidemiological investigation.
