Ministry of Employment: "4th Employment Stability Support Fund, 650,000 Recipients Paid"
[Sejong=Asia Economy Reporter Son Seon-hee] The Ministry of Employment and Labor announced on the 5th that it has completed payments of the 4th Emergency Employment Stability Subsidy to a total of 650,000 people.
The Ministry stated that from the start of payments on the 30th of last month until today, a total of 653,380 people have received 500,000 KRW each, amounting to a total of 326.7 billion KRW. The eligibility criteria are the same as those for the 1st to 3rd rounds of support.
Additionally, the Ministry is accepting new applications from special-type workers and freelancers who have not received the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd Emergency Employment Stability Subsidies due to prolonged economic difficulties caused by COVID-19, and will provide up to 1,000,000 KRW in support.
