Hyundai Card Holds 'Magazine Collection Exhibition' at Itaewon Storage

[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] Hyundai Card announced on the 2nd that it will hold "The Issue: Hyundai Card Library Magazine Collection Exhibition Through the Ages" at Storage, an exhibition space operated in Itaewon, Seoul.
This exhibition focuses on world-renowned magazines Life, Playboy, National Geographic, Rolling Stone, and Domus, all of which are fully owned by the Hyundai Card Library.
In particular, Hyundai Card visualized how these magazines viewed society and culture at the time through their inaugural issues and major editions of the five global magazines.
The exhibition is composed of six zones across two floors of Hyundai Card Storage, including an Intro Zone and five major magazine zones. In the magazine zones, visitors can see not only the inaugural and major issues of each magazine but also various attractions such as photos, letters, videos, and audio files from Life, Domus, Playboy, and others.
The Intro Zone, which marks the beginning of the exhibition, features a large timeline summarizing the history of the full collection and major world historical events from the 1930s to the present, providing a comprehensive view of the historical significance of the exhibited magazines. In the following exhibition spaces for the five major magazines, visitors can directly check the inaugural issues, major editions that caused significant impact at the time of publication, related photos, videos, and novel publications.
Especially in the Rolling Stone Zone, a listening area is set up to allow visitors to directly enjoy music that holds great significance in the history of global popular music. The exhibition hall also features a large bookshelf where over 7,000 volumes from the full collection can be viewed in one place, offering a diverse range of sights and experiences.

The exhibition runs until July 4th and can be viewed by making a reservation in advance through the Hyundai Card DIVE application (app). It is free and open to visitors aged 19 and older.
