143 Confirmed Cases in Seoul by 6 PM... 27 Fewer Than Previous Day

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] From midnight to 6 p.m. on the 1st, Seoul reported 143 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 over 18 hours, according to the Seoul Metropolitan Government.
Compared to the same time frame, this is 27 fewer cases than the previous day (March 31) with 170 cases, and 42 more cases than one week ago (March 25) with 101 cases. The total daily confirmed cases were 199 on March 31 and 122 on March 25. Among these, March 31 marked the highest daily case count in Seoul in 43 days since February 16, when 258 cases were recorded.
Of the new confirmed cases in Seoul on the 1st, 2 were imported cases, and the remaining 141 were domestic infections.
Among ongoing major cluster infections, additional confirmed cases were reported: 7 from the 'Music Club in Yongsan-gu', 4 from 'Family/Workplace in Jungnang-gu', 3 from 'High School in Songpa-gu', 2 from 'Workplace in Gangnam-gu (March Cluster 1)', and 2 from 'Workplace in Gangnam-gu (March Cluster 2)'.
There were 11 new confirmed cases from other cluster infections.
For new cases not separately managed as cluster infections, there were 65 contacts with other confirmed cases, 8 contacts with confirmed cases outside Seoul, and 39 cases under investigation for infection routes.
