Yeonggwang-gun Conducts COVID-19 Vaccine Vaccination Drill Simulation
[Yeonggwang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jeonseong] Jeollanam-do Yeonggwang-gun (Governor Kim Junsung) announced on the 1st that a simulation drill for Pfizer vaccine administration was conducted at the COVID-19 vaccination center set up in the Sportium Indoor Auxiliary Gymnasium.
On this day, the simulation drill was carried out assuming an actual vaccination process, with about 70 personnel from related organizations such as Yeonggwang Police Station and Yeonggwang Fire Station participating. The process included verifying the identity of vaccine recipients, filling out medical questionnaires, medical examination, vaccination, electronic registration of vaccination records, distribution of vaccination certificates and information leaflets, observation for adverse reactions, emergency treatment for anaphylaxis patients, and transportation.
Based on the results of this drill, the county plans to thoroughly prepare to ensure smooth vaccination operations without any disruptions, including pre-inspection of the vaccination center's overall operation and readiness for unexpected situations, prioritizing Pfizer vaccine administration starting from the 15th for seniors aged 75 and older, residents and users of elderly facilities, and workers.
