Daejeon City Begins 'Pfizer' Vaccinations for Those Aged 75 and Over

View original image[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Daejeon City announced on the 31st that it will begin COVID-19 vaccinations on the 1st of next month for about 4,500 elderly people aged 75 and older and residents of local elderly care facilities.
According to the city, out of a total of 5,012 workers and users at local elderly care facilities, 4,542 (90.6%) have recently agreed to receive the vaccine. Those who agreed will receive the Pfizer vaccine at the Yuseong Vaccination Center.
The Yuseong Vaccination Center is equipped with an ultra-low temperature freezer, partitions, and fixtures on the first floor of the Yuseong Sports Complex.
Elderly care facility recipients of the Pfizer vaccine will arrive at the vaccination center by vehicle and go through procedures including registration and guidance, preliminary examination, vaccination, and observation for adverse reactions (15 to 30 minutes).
The city, with support from the Fire Agency, has stationed an ambulance and emergency medical technicians at the Yuseong Vaccination Center to promptly respond on-site in case of adverse reactions.
