Police Detain 29 Members of Korean Federation of Trade Unions for Occupying Susaek-dong Redevelopment Site

The Western Seoul Police Station arrested 29 FKTU members on the spot around 10:30 a.m. on the 26th on charges of trespassing at the Susaek 6 Redevelopment Promotion Zone housing redevelopment site.
It is known that they secretly entered the construction site around 3 a.m. that day to demand the employment of FKTU members. Members of the FKTU and the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU) Construction Industry Union have been protesting and confronting each other at the Susaek-dong redevelopment construction site, each demanding the employment of their union members.
