Kyobo Life Insurance, KT, and Woori Financial Group Launch KAIST Digital Education Program
[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] Kyobo Life Insurance announced on the 25th that it will jointly establish an industry-academia-linked training program with Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) along with KT and Woori Financial Group to nurture talent in big data and artificial intelligence (AI).
The training program will be conducted over three months starting in April, led by KAIST Business School faculty, including professors from the AI Graduate School and the Department of Industrial Engineering, comprising some of the top professors in the country.
A total of 45 employees from 12 companies across the three groups will participate, receiving practical training on topics such as digital transformation, big data analysis, AI theory and technology, AI business utilization strategies, and DX (digital innovation) utilization strategies, and will carry out team projects.
Kyobo Life Insurance plans to have employees from its affiliates covering insurance, culture, and IT, including Kyobo Book Centre, Kyobo Lifeplanet Life Insurance, and Kyobo Information & Communication, participate together.
