FNS Co., Ltd. to Recruit Talent for Hallyu Content on Fandom Platform 'FANTOO'
[Asia Economy Reporter Park So-yeon] The global fandom platform 'FANTOO,' developed and operated by FNS Co., Ltd., is set to officially launch in April and is now seeking global content talents called 'Hallyu Jigi.'
FANTOO is a fandom platform that combines content such as fandom communities, chat, karaoke, open live broadcasts, and media channels with advanced technologies like AI and blockchain.
Chatting and content can be translated in real-time, enabling communication without language barriers between countries. Currently, the beta service is available on the Play Store and App Store, with the official launch scheduled for April.
FNS Co., Ltd. has named the FANTOO project the 'Global 333 Project.' The plan is to secure 300 million users, create 30,000 jobs, and generate an economic effect of 30 trillion KRW.
Hallyu Jigi will serve as ambassadors who produce and share various Hallyu content with Hallyu fans worldwide.
In the content creator category, various talents related to program production such as PDs, announcers, filming, editing, scriptwriters, casters, and DJs will be recruited. Part-time applications are also accepted. Recruitment will also cover a wide range of talents including webtoon artists, novelists, drama writers, film writers, and theater writers.
Additionally, recruitment for domestic and overseas Hallyu Jigi reporter teams will take place. To capture the diverse Hallyu trends happening around the world on FANTOO, reporter teams will be recruited by domestic regions and various countries overseas.
Eligible applicants include students, office workers, and homemakers who can cover and write articles by domestic region. There are no restrictions on age, gender, or occupation.
The overseas category targets part-time reporters such as international students, workers, and immigrants currently abroad who can vividly report on various Hallyu news overseas. Concurrent employment is allowed. FANTOO stated that through the Hallyu Jigi reporter teams, it plans to deliver real Hallyu stories worldwide.
FANTOO is also recruiting FANTOO club operators. They will open and manage fan clubs that showcase various Korean cultures to foreigners. Once fan clubs are established and users accumulate, operators will be able to generate considerable advertising revenue.
Former and current fan club operators or executives will be given preference when selecting Hallyu Jigi. The first term of activity will last six months, from April to September.
Selected Hallyu Jigi will receive various supports in addition to a base salary. Even after the activity period ends, they can receive the latest Hallyu trend information updated in real-time through the FANTOO app and participate in offline events and star invitation events regularly held by FANTOO.
